Masood Aslam Wafai

I began my career with Mechanical Engineering but soon realized my interest was in building businesses that create impact. I moved to Baku, Azerbaijan, where I gained valuable international exposure in the pharmaceutical sector.
In 2009, I returned to Srinagar and started B Safe Enterprise, my first venture here. Later, in 2017, I founded CSBS Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., which has grown into an established exporter of pharmaceutical products to multiple countries. In 2024, I co-founded CBS Innovations Pvt. Ltd., focusing on renewable energy solutions like solar power and eco-friendly heating systems.
Alongside business, I have always been deeply involved in social work. One of the most meaningful initiatives I undertook was in the field of drug de-addiction. Together with a dedicated team, we built a strong network across nearly 40 areas of Kashmir, working in close coordination to help young children and youth trapped in addiction. Our efforts were not limited to rehabilitation of consumers — we also worked on awareness, prevention, and even curbing trafficking at the local level. This grassroots effort created visible impact and gave me the conviction that organized, community-driven action can bring real change.
It was this conviction that laid the foundation for YESWEYAA Foundation. In 2025, along with my friend and co-founder Syed Musaib, we registered YESWEYAA with the vision of supporting children who have lost a parent or whose families have suffered serious financial setbacks. Our mission is simple: no child should be deprived of education, healthcare, or dignity because of circumstances beyond their control.
For me, business and social responsibility go hand in hand. Through YESWEYAA, I hope to create a sustainable, long-term impact in the lives of those who need it the most.
