YesWeYaa Foundation Inaugurates New Chapter — Young Voices Lead as Child Ambassadors of Hope
Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir — In an inspiring and heartfelt ceremony held at Hotel Sarovar Premier, M.A. Road, Srinagar, the YesWeYaa Foundation inaugurated its new chapter, reaffirming its commitment to the cause of compassion, education, and child welfare. The occasion marked a defining moment as young mission ambassadors were inducted — symbolizing the Foundation’s belief that youngesters are not merely beneficiaries but active partners in shaping a compassionate and equitable society.
The ceremony was graced by Chairman Masood Wafai, Director Syed M.M. Shah, and Public Relations Officer Er. Danish Reshi, along with distinguished members and well-wishers including Prof G M Untoo, Er Hashmat Qazi, Mutaharra Abida Waheed Deva, Prof. Gurmeet Kaur and Zahoor Ahmed Mir.
The Foundation also acknowledged the invaluable support of Naseema Lanker,
Gous-ul-Nisa Jeelani, Dr Ashok Aima,Dr Umer Javed Shah who conveyed their good wishes and steadfast commitment to the mission despite prior professional engagements.
The event began with the unveiling of the Foundation’s new initiative focusing on educational empowerment and emotional wellbeing of children facing adversity. The unveiling was led by the newly inducted young mission ambassadors whose words, filled with innocence and resolve, deeply moved the audience — embodying the spirit of resilience that the Foundation seeks to nurture.
“The children’s courage and optimism remind us why YesWeYaa exists,” said Masood Wafai, Chairman, YesWeYaa Foundation. “Our mission goes beyond aid — it’s about rebuilding dreams, restoring dignity, and creating a world where no child is left behind.”
“This is not just a launch — it’s a pledge,” added Er. Danish Reshi, Public Relations Officer. “Together with our partners and communities, we aim to build a support system rooted in empathy, integrity, and shared responsibility.”
“We want every child to dream again — like we do now,” expressed Young mission Ambassadors, Sarah wafai & Ifrah wahid capturing the emotional essence of the movement.

Strategic session with Foundation leaders on scholarship programs, community verification systems, and volunteer mobilization.
Open call for partnerships and collaborative initiatives to extend the reach of the Foundation’s mission.
